Just six more weeks until the big man in red makes his rounds!
I swear to you, when my kids ASK to get their picture taken, you best drop everything you’re doing and do exactly as they wish.
See, my kids suffer from this thing called Photographer’s Child Syndrome. It is, in essence, the ability to smell any camera from 17 miles away and manage to glue their hands to their faces until said camera is far, far away.
But Sunday evening the stars aligned and the angels sung and this was the result.
At just five days old, baby M was welcomed into this family, to which she immediately brought joy and energy. Their foster-to-adopt process took nearly two years, but now, days after M’s 2nd birthday, she is officially theirs!
This was my first ever Red Thread Session and I feel immensely blessed to have had the opportunity witness this family’s story. I hope to see them again in the future as they grow their family.
Mister Jordan came a few weeks early and I got the privilege of shooting him on his due date. Happy birthday baby!
