Love | Little Fawn Photography | Gallipolis, Ohio Engagement Photographer

Gorgeous people!! Gah! When Chelsea asked me to be their wedding photographer I was absolutely esctatic, C has an eye for all things gorgeous and I know that this wedding is going to be spectacular. And my wedding package includes an engagement session and I have to say I was just as excited about the e-pics as I am for the wedding. Adults are so fun to photograph, I mean heck, they listen a lot better than 2yr olds! This session totally rocked on my list of sessions that I had the most fun with.

Welcome all! [Little Fawn Photography Gallipolis, OH]

I feel like I owe everyone a word on the name change. It may seem a bit sudden but it’s been a long time coming.

I officially started shooting in late 2007 and you can’t very well post pictures and not have some way to identify yourself. I really wanted a name that stood out and represented me and my work, but despite agonizing over it that name never came to me. I shot under AFS Photography and then finalized on Andrea Snedaker Photography. It wasn’t what I wanted, but I figured that it would do in the mean time. I toyed with Little Bloom, but I felt that that wasn’t me, I kill flowers, why would I be anything with bloom?! I knew that when the right name presented itself I would know.

Right before my youngest, Eden was born I finally fell in love with my given name, Andrea Fawn. Well, not so much my first name, I still hate that, but more so my middle name. In the end, we ended up giving the name to Eden as her middle name. Since then the word Fawn has really been laid on my heart. I knew I wanted to use it, I just had to get up the nerve to change everything about my business. A name change is a huge decision when I have only just become a recognizable brand. I’m not going to lie, there were times I thought of giving it all up and sticking with the name I hated. But in the end I decided to take the plunge. I know that in the end my fans will know who I am no matter what name I shoot under.

If you haven’t had a chance to look around the site and blog yet, please take a minute to do so. You’ll notice a lot of changes. The biggest being that I am now going to do in person ordering. Just click on pricing at the top or on the site and read about how fantastic this is going to be. I will also be offering a huge array of new products, my most favorite being a new line of framing. [I should have a blog post with some images sometime next week.]

Later this week I’ll be having a big contest, so please make sure that you come back then to check out the vendors and enter to win some awesome prizes!!!

Much Love,

P.S. I want to mention that there is a prospective studio in Little Fawn’s future, but I can’t say too much for fear of jinxing myself. Just keep your fingers crossed and if you’re the praying kind, do a bit of that for me too!

I love the name!!! And the VHW also the Little Charms Photo. You are doing a great job with this…….

Wow does time fly!!

I swear I haven’t been ignoring the blog, it’s just that things have been a bit chaotic. I’m entering into my busiest part of the year and between pictures, getting everything ready to build a NEW HOUSE [insert girly scream!], both B + E’s birthdays, oh yea and Tim’s bday, and the biggest thing, a HUGE surprise that I will be announcing in just a couple of weeks, I have all but abandoned the poor old blog.

You’ll also notice that a lot of the old posts have pictures that aren’t visiable. I beg you to forgive me. A while back ago I had someone copying my images and cropping out my logo and posting as their own. Totally not cool. So one day I had a rush of aggrivation and changed the permissions on every.single.image on my Flickr account. Some of the images it didn’t affect, but others it did and hence the white square with the unavailable comment. Since there is some HUGE changes coming to Andrea Snedaker Photography in the coming weeks I decided to just leave them as is and opt to explain and ask for forgiveness instead of changing things. I hope you understand.

And like I said, there is something huge about to be announced. I don’t want to give too much away, though a few close photog friends and those that booked at the vendor shows I’ve been at recently do know what that surprise is. Let’s just say that it’s well worth the wait and I am beyond excited to take my photography business in this next step. I’ve been praying about this change since I became ASP but only recently did it become visiable to me that this is what the business needs.

There is also a few things that will hopefully be announced in coming months. I won’t say anything yet because I don’t want to jinx myself, but Andrea Snedaker Photography is taking huge strides and I am immensely proud of myself and my photography journey right now.

I want to thank each and every one of my fans, clients, and cheerleaders for making these steps possible, without you I’d be nothing. Thank you!

Over the next couple days I hope to get the blog caught up on some of my recent sessions [Alyssa’s Senior Rep session, Eden’s 1st birthday, Preschool, Chelsea + Kyle’s engagement, + Jaycee’s Cake Smash].

Again, thank you! I cannot say that enough. I am so excited about 2011 and all of the changes I will be making.

As always, if you would like to book a session, please email me at or give me a call at 740.645.5230.
