Just another fall family photo where I love the family and the photo.
So what if it’s six months late, we’re still just as cute. Ha! I’m embracing that this might be the last year I get to do a family costume and did it right. Though I am planning 2016’s just in case.
This fall I tried something I hadn’t before, stylized mini sessions. Complete with a unicorn! It went so well and we all had a complete blast. I can’t wait to do this again soon!
Just a bit of an informational tip. When I talk with a client I’ll tell them that we usually do 3-4 blankets, a few baskets, and then parent photos. That’s all? They ask. But then they see their images and always comment how many they have, how many they love. I thought I’d share these three photos. All taken within a few minutes, same baby, same pose, just a few different props. There are so many poses that we do on blankets, so once you factor in all of the props added you can see that there is quite a lot of variety.
Having the privilege of getting to shoot a 2nd child is possibly the biggest compliment a client can give.
You’ll notice a bit more activity over here for a while! I’m playing catch up. A year’s worth to be exact. In the mean time here are our family pictures from this past fall. They were a mix of me shooting, using the timer and running into place, and a wonderful assistant who didn’t mind me chimping the screen after every shot.
